Hertz are a trusted Global brand offering a long term consultative partnership. We have over 140 locations and 20 dedicated Van Supersites offering over 1 acre in space. We supply over 5,000 Commercial Vehicles, bespoked with customer driven specification and we are recruiting for a Regional Van Sales Manager in Bristol
What is this role all about?
As a Regional Van Sales Manager you will grow commercial vehicle business in line with our business strategy from the existing customer portfolio base and new customer acquisition within the designated region. The Regional Van Sales Manager will be expected to deliver a first class customer account management to commercial vehicle customers within the designated region. (Bristol and the surrounding areas)
Acquisition of new long term fleet customers of commercial vehicle rental, in line with business plan targets across the territory.
Ensure long term relationships are built and maintained at all levels across customer base within the van supersite structure.
Develop sales action plans at key regional Van Supersites
Maintain and develop prospect pipeline reports on fleet customers within the region.
Work in partnership with the National Van Sales Manager and Regional Car Account Managers.
Negotiation of new and existing contracts and tenders.
Provide clear Service Level Agreements, contractual terms and handover documentation for operations, debt collections and FNOL damage collections.
Deliverables / Responsibilities:
Revenue growth in line with current strategy/BP
Identify and develop business opportunities including revenue growth, product development, car rental opportunities, marketing initiatives, fleet management solutions and operational structure and support.
Deliver a professional and consultative sales process to fleet customers based on product knowledge and industry competence.
Positioning Hertz as a credible and successful operator of commercial vehicle acquisition via a long term flexible rental solution.
Monitor and feedback of competitor activity within region – both cars and commercial vehicles.
To be responsible for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of sales plans for the agreed territory in the UK.
To identify and develop new commercial vehicle business opportunities within the agreed territory
To support the Hertz operational Van Supersite network in the development of local commercial vehicle business.
To support and add value to the continued internal development of Hertz Commercial vehicles within the Hertz Corporation.
Proficient IT technical skills to operate and learn Hertz systems and communicate accurately and clearly through the standard Microsoft Office software.
What do we need from you?
Ideally with a minimum of 2 years prior similar sales experience including account management.
Preferably to degree level or ‘A’ Level or similar
Good understanding of business practice
Energetic and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
