The Hertz Corporation Manager, B2B Marketing in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

The primary missions of the Manager, Hertz Brand Marketing are:

  • Drive revenue for the Hertz brands through B2B and Small Business activities

  • Own and manage B2B content, managing content pipeline from thought leadership, RFPs, program updates, etc. Support Sales RFPs, providing content and creative management.

  • Lead key integrated Go-To-Market campaigns in the B2B space. Define the strategy for going to market and the correct KPI, securing and managing the budget.

  • Activate sponsorships in conjunction with the Sales team. Bring the strategy to life at individual events, managing the process end-to-end from booking, inviting, reporting, staffing, planning, budgeting, promoting, hosting and reporting.

  • Creating and distributing Small Business content into the right channels.

  • Creating Small Business promotions across the partner ecosystem. Working with the internal and external stakeholders

  • Support Small Business program redesign and communication to HBR accounts of the changes made

Additional responsibilities and core functions include:

  • Be responsible for executing and driving to annual financial targets for Hertz brands. Help establish business objectives, strategies, campaigns, and tactics that will successfully meet the financial plan

  • Foster consistent brand results measurement, robust industry and brand analytics and a focus on results to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI for the brand

  • Stay current on market, competition, and trends including analyzing current marketing tactics, concepts, practices and procedures

  • Assist in defining the objective, scope, and prioritization of product initiatives

Mandatory Requirements

Key result areas:

  • Develop, implement, and measure marketing campaigns to connect with key customer segments and meet revenue targets

Educational Background:

  • Undergraduate and master’s degree preferred in marketing, business management, economics, finance, mathematics, or related / relevant field required

Professional Experience:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience within retail, travel, hospitality with a focus on product design. Other industries acceptable if able to demonstrate relevant correlation

Skills:

  • Proven track record of ability to solve complex business problems

  • Demonstrated ability to work in, across, and with large teams

  • Demonstrated project management experience for a broad range of topics and scope, including experience in large scale project management

  • Established track-record of influencing stakeholders from other functional areas with limited formal authority

  • Strong background in strategic problem solving

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfort communicating across all levels within the organization

  • Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.

  • Advanced Microsoft Suite product knowledge (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel)

  • Proven verbal and written communication

  • Positive attitude
