The Hertz Corporation Region Damage Manager - HLE in Houston, Texas
The Region Damage Manager is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a member of the Region staff, the Region Damage Manager will direct the expert management of the damage process compliance, vehicle utilization and collection actions.
Manage the completion process of unmatched damaged reports
Evaluate the process collections as related to customer damage of fleet, percentage of damage collected, and timely handling of salvage fleet
Establish region and location metrics as related to the management of fleet damage and communicate areas of concern to Regional management
Create and maintain a database of profit centers, unmatched reports, salvage down time, etc.
Actively participate in developing improvement plans for all areas, with specific emphasis as subject expert to improve the management of the damage process
Serve as the Region’s point of contact for the First Notice Of Loss Research Team
Direct the construction, design and facilitation of learning curriculum to education region and branch staff of the fleet damage process
Liaise with region management to ensure efficient process of fleet towing and make certain of maintaining positive vendor relations with the local towing companies
Review the fleet aging reports and address any vehicles that require action
Participate in Region Staff meetings and join in collaborative assignments at the direction of Region leadership.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a variety of tasks.
3-5 years previous Operations and/or equivalent Project Management experience with direct experience in Hertz Local Edition programs
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
Previous customer service.
Strong time management and organizational skills are required
Computer literate and detailed orientated.
Must have a valid driver's license, be 20 years of age, with an acceptable driving record
