Customer Service Rep Returns - Stansted Airport

Zero Hour Contract - 40 hours per week

£7.50 per hour basic + (uncapped commission)

Customer Service Representative KTW (key time work)

This is suited to someone who thrives in a very busy environment. Your main responsibilities involve meeting and greeting customers when returning their rental vehicles to the Airport; You will inspect vehicles for damage and provide the customer with an invoice at the end of the rental and a full explanation of their charges. You will also ensure security/vehicle checks are carried out at our exit gate.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To greet all Hertz customers with a welcoming and professional attitude.

  • Ensure all customers receive the WOW experience by offering an outstanding customer experience.

  • Inspect all returning vehicles for damage and complete the relevant vehicle condition/damage appraisals following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

  • Ensure status of vehicles is identified on return and actioned accordingly ( O/C, blocked vehicles)

  • Issue every customer with an invoice and a full explanation of their charges

  • Ensure security checks are carried out at the exit gate

  • Ensure vehicle pre-inspection forms are checked and signed by customers at the exit gate and that a copy is retained and filed on branch daily

  • Offer extra service as appropriate, such as general directions, assisting with luggage, responding to other customers’ requests and aim to resolves customer issues, leaving customer with a positive experience.

  • Offer best in class service to all Hertz Gold Plus Reward members, preparing their rental agreements on time, allocating high quality vehicles, helping with queries and driving ancillary services sales at the counter.

  • To carry out any other duties requested by the Managers/Supervisors such as Car Park/Fleet check, Fuel Reconciliation, Audits, action e-mails from Customer Relation and other branches involving VPI/ARF/general information.

  • Receiving and making telephone calls to both Hertz customers and colleagues at other locations.

  • Liaising with other areas of the branch and ensuring the smooth movement and availability of rentable fleet with production line efficiency.

  • At peak times able to work under pressure and still achieve outstanding results.

  • Ensure that the check-in area is kept tidy at all times.

  • Meet the Hertz Grooming Standards. Name badge and uniform to be worn at all times.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Good communication skills both written and oral

  • Proven experience of working well within a team.

  • 100% customer focus, with proven experience within a customer facing environment
