The Hertz Corporation Business Analyst - EAM in Uxbridge, United Kingdom

The EAM Business Analyst / Administrator is primarily responsible for overall oversight and evolution of the asset, work, procurement and inventory management processes within the application.

This position is also responsible for maintaining system data integrity resolving interface issues, gathering analytical requirements and developing reports.

During the Construction phase the position should gathering all requirements and ensure that they are included in the Use Cases.

In the Testing Phase the position must ensure that all processes in all European Countries are performed successful.


  • Ensure corporate policies and procedures are followed so that application changes are made in a controlled manner

  • Performs process and data related audit on a regular basis

  • Recommend software upgrades, enhancements and process changes to adopt new product features

  • Provide software training to end-users

  • Serves as a liaison for problem solving and escalation. Be able to coach and educate staff on the EAM functions and best practices for performing tasks.

  • Measures and publish metrics to the management team, interpret data and recommend findings

  • Participates in EAM software implementation projects at regional level

  • Works with regional administrators to roll out new business units and process changes

  • Creates/Updates Flex Business Rules and Customer created Cognos Reports as needed

  • Monitors and resolves interfaces to/from the application


  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Knowledgeable of interfaces and database design

  • PL/SQL preferred

  • IBM Cognos preferred

  • Experience with process assessment, design and implementation practices
