Our European Service Centre office based in Swords Dublin employs approximately 900 people with over 29 different nationalities and we’re currently looking for a Helpdesk Agent to join the Helpdesk team of 10.

What is this role all about?

The Helpdesk Agent is responsible to handle all incoming enquiries from customers reserving the Hertz products through the GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and Hertz Websites

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • To answer all calls in relation to the sale of Hertz Products on the GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, Worldspan) and the Hertz websites to ensure that customer queries are handled effectively and professionally.

  • To answer all GDS queue messages from Travel Agents and Airlines to ensure a high quality of service to the Travel Trade .

  • Daily email handling according to defined turnaround times thus ensuring an efficient service to our web customers.

  • To log calls according to the defined Hertz procedure so that root cause analysis of common problems can be determined.

Ihr Profil

What do we need from you?

  • Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal (including professional telephone manner)

  • Evidence of exhibiting excellent customer service skills and effective team work

  • Excellent standard of English & Fluency in German

  • Must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision

  • Ability to handle various different systems

  • Experience in the Travel Industry is preferable
