Hertz Global Holdings, the world's largest car rental company, is seeking recent graduates to enter into our Finance Leadership Program. Associates in this program are exposed to a breadth of experiences across different Hertz businesses while developing skills in a variety of Finance functions. Hertz is investing in the future, building a robust pool of talent who will position the company for growth.
Two-year rotational program focused on developing Hertz future finance leaders
Associates build broad business and finance acumen over the course of four unique rotations
Targeted technical and soft-skill professional development training to complement on-the-job learning
Formal mentoring and regular performance coaching; associates fail fast, learn from mistakes, and accelerate their growth
Exposure to Hertz’ senior leaders through various projects, initiatives, events, and meetings.
Core Areas of Exposure
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) – including, but not limited to:
Partner with business stakeholders to understand business operations and explain key financial drivers
Timely and accurate reporting - building understanding of variances to annual operating plan and prior year performance
Assist in annual budget process and ongoing forecasting
Controllership – including, but not limited to:
Support local business units to ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant controls
Verify financial statement accuracy through account reconciliations and trending analysis
Coordinate the provision of information to internal and external auditors for the annual audit
Other areas of exposure: Finance transformation initiatives, fleet management, treasury operations, free cash flow, decision-making, and risk management
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (preferred majors) – minimum 3.0 Overall GPA
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Flexible, adaptable, and geographically mobile
Hunger for learning and tenacity
Strong Microsoft Suite acumen, especially Excel
Demonstrated initiative, leadership ability, and multi-tasking skills
Relevant work experience, preferred
Intention to commit to multi-year career with Hertz after completion of program
Available to start in Summer 2021
