About the Role
We are looking for a Brand Manager who is passionate about driving our rental car brand to success through continual data-driven insights and delivery of results-oriented and revenue-driving marketing campaigns. The role will be responsible for Partnership and Strategy support for the Dollar and Thrifty brands. They will support the Brand Marketing Directors in driving the brand strategy for Dollar & Thrifty brands in order to successfully capture market share and improve brand identity/awareness among rental car consumers. The primary mission of the Manager, Partnerships and Sponsorships, Dollar and Thrifty Brands role is:
Lead efforts to maximize brand positioning and revenue for Dollar & Thrifty brands through development and execution of a Partnership and Sponsorship strategy that will drive ability to reach target customers through well-aligned partnerships
Develop, analyze, and implement strategy and plans to develop Partnerships for each brand
Support brand update execution across the organization
Work with Brand Marketing Directors to translate brand strategies into successful brand plans, go-to-market strategies, and marketing campaigns
Work to establish business objectives, strategies, campaigns, and tactics that will successfully meet the financial plan
Foster consistent brand results measurement, robust industry and brand analytics and a focus on results to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI for the brand(s).
Liaise with teams across the organization as well as with external marketing agencies. Work with Customer Experience and Operations teams to define the optimal Customer Experience and work to implement. Work with Sales partners to ensure revenue targets are met within our partnership distributions. Work with Social and Digital teams for search/display/social to ensure campaigns are meeting brand needs and driving success.
Identify and champion projects that will have brand and business impact
Stay current on market, competition, and trends including analyzing current marketing tactics, concepts, practices and procedures
Key Result Areas
Drive Partnerships strategy to connect with key customer segments and meet revenue targets
Support growth of brand strategy among internal marketing teams, including Loyalty, Customer Experience, Digital Marketing, and Social Media
Drive brand strategy updates across organization to successful execution
Degree in Marketing, Advertising or other business discipline
2-4 years of experience in Marketing.
Previous Partnership and/or brand team experience a plus
Travel Industry experience or CPG experience a plus
Campaign Performance & Analysis
Understanding of Financial Reporting & Financial Statements
Partnership and Sponsorship activation strategies
Integrated Marketing Communications
Data-driven decision making and results-oriented (and measurable) focus
Able to understand and interpret analytical reports/research
Ability to review financial results and drive strategies/actions based on data
Strong Excel, Powerpoint skills
