General Responsibilities

The primary missions of the Partnership Specialist, Hertz Brand Marketing are:

  • Support development and execution of partnership strategy, clarifying the role of partnerships in the portfolio of marketing tactics

  • Dedicated account management of a portfolio of existing Hertz partners and events, supporting ongoing initiatives and driving new ideas and thinking to optimize the portfolio and drive revenue

  • Measure and report the results during bi-weekly team meetings

  • Identify business needs where partnerships/sponsorships could form part of the solution

  • Evaluate and respond to incoming partnerships/sponsorships requests, measuring against filtering system in place

  • Collaborate with key business areas throughout the organization to ensure participation and understanding of current and future partnerships/sponsorships and ensure ongoing success

Additional responsibilities and core functions include:

  • Identify and champion ad hoc projects that will have brand and business impact

  • Help establish business objectives, strategies, campaigns, and tactics that will successfully meet the financial plan

  • Foster consistent brand results measurement, robust industry and brand analytics and a focus on results to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI for the brand

  • Stay current on market, competition, and trends including analyzing current marketing tactics, concepts, practices and procedures

Key result areas:

  • Portfolio management and delivery of ROI against overall partner spend

  • Incremental programs and campaigns driving new customer acquisition and brand reach

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Undergraduate and master’s degree preferred in marketing, communications, business management, economics, finance, mathematics, or related / relevant field required

Professional Experience:

  • Prior professional experience within retail, travel, hospitality with a focus on Marketing, Partnerships or Account Management. Other industries acceptable if able to demonstrate relevant correlation.
