The Hertz Corporation Manager, Brand Marketing in Estero, Florida
About the Role
We are looking for a Manager of Brand Marketing who is passionate about driving our rental car brand to success through continual data-driven insights and delivery of results-oriented and revenue-driving marketing campaigns. The focus will be responsible for Business-to-Business channel support for the Dollar and Thrifty brands. They will support the Brand Marketing Directors in driving the brand strategy for Dollar & Thrifty brands in order to successfully capture market share and improve brand identity/awareness among rental car consumers. The primary mission of the role is:
Lead efforts to maximize brand positioning, revenue, and strategy for Dollar & Thrifty in Business-to-Business channels, including partnership with internal sales teams and external vendors
Develop, analyze, and implement plans to support Business-to-Business efforts within the Dollar & Thrifty brands
Support brand update execution across the organization
Work with Brand Marketing Directors to translate brand strategies into successful brand plans, go-to-market strategies, and marketing campaigns
Work to establish business objectives, strategies, campaigns, and tactics that will successfully meet the financial plan
Foster consistent brand results measurement, robust industry and brand analytics and a focus on results to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI for the brand(s).
Liaise with teams across the organization as well as with external marketing agencies. Work with Customer Experience and Operations teams to define the optimal Customer Experience and work to implement. Work with Sales partners to ensure revenue targets are met within our B2B distribution. Work with Social and Digital teams for search/display/social to ensure campaigns are meeting brand needs and driving success.
Identify and champion projects that will have brand and business impact
Stay current on market, competition, and trends including analyzing current marketing tactics, concepts, practices and procedures
Oversee partnerships, sponsorships and B2B management
Key Result Areas
Drive B2B brand strategy to connect with key customer segments and meet revenue targets
Support growth of brand strategy among internal marketing teams, including Loyalty, Customer Experience, Digital Marketing, and Social Media
Drive brand strategy updates across organization to successful execution
Degree in Marketing, Advertising or other business discipline
2-4 years of experience in Marketing.
Previous brand team experience a plus
Travel Industry experience or CPG experience a plus
Campaign Performance & Analysis
Understanding of Financial Reporting & Financial Statements
Integrated Marketing Communications
Data-driven decision making and results-oriented (and measurable) focus
Able to understand and interpret analytical reports/research
Ability to review financial results and drive strategies/actions based on data
Strong Excel, Powerpoint skills
