The Hertz Corporation Media Analyst, Brand Marketing in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced media professional who is passionate about driving our rental car brand to success through continual data-driven insights and delivery of results-oriented and revenue-driving digital media campaigns. The focus will be on leading all media reporting and optimization strategies in order to successfully capture market share and drive profitable, revenue-driving outcomes. This a position for those who love working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and are constantly managing multiple projects with varying priorities at the same time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Paid Media performance tracking and optimizations. Review media results daily & weekly to determine whether there are changes needed to the current plan to optimize the outcome for the overall Media

  • Optimization tracking with Media agency. Manage external agency to implement all optimizations and ensure completion / accuracy of the requested changes

  • Manage media spend pacing and budget shifts to ensure maximum return and to manage seasonal spend fluctuations with multiple vendors

  • Daily & Weekly Media reporting. Manage all reporting on media performance and budget tracking

  • Media buy planning. Support media purchase strategy and contribute to vendor recommendations and execution management for new and ongoing tactics

  • Support business objectives by contributing to the development and execution paid media strategy – including the appropriate media mix and tactics

  • Manage media agency to develop consumer-centric omnichannel media plans that deliver on brand objectives, are inclusive of prior media performance and are measurable and optimizable

  • Develops and manages relationship with media partners to ensure ongoing and successful campaign deliver and optimization

  • Manage the improvement of keyword generation, bid optimization, landing page resolution and testing, ad text testing, campaign management and reporting tools

  • Driverevenue through proactive and continued optimization of tactics

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, economics, finance or related / relevant field required (MBA Preferred)

Professional Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience within brand management, digital marketing, e-commerce or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience managing large media agency with 10+ million dollars marketing spend

  • Has a demonstrated track record of budget and agency management, media performance and analysis, creating measurement plans and models, and using data to inform business decisions

  • Trade certifications preferred (Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Bing, Facebook)

  • Experience in travel industry a plus

Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms with high proficiency in Paid Digital KPIs, analytics, testing, and optimization

  • Strong understanding of media acquisition principles, trends and best practices

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills – ability to create senior-level reports and communicate recommendations, both verbally and written

  • Strong data analytics skills – ability to create reports from multiple sources and interpret results with actionable recommendations
