The Hertz Corporation Mgr Franchise Fleet Program in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Franchise Fleet Program Manager will work directly with the Sr. Director – Fleet Procurement to ensure the planning, execution and reporting duties of the Licensee program are achieved. This role will be comprised of planning licensee purchase volumes each model year, communicating allocation requests, executing participation agreements, managing communication with all franchisees and reporting on results of the program. This position will be the single point of contact for all inquiries to the program for external and internal stakeholders. Building relationships with our licensee network will be an integral aspect of this position.

  • Develop and build relationships with the Hertz Licensee network.

  • Manage the execution and maintenance of the Licensee participation agreement each model year.

  • Work with fleet procurement analytics to create custom allocation for each OEM.

  • Manage schedule compliance between Master OEM schedules, Licensee schedules and Corporate schedules.

  • Compile all terms and conditions for each OEM contract that needs to be communicated to the licensee network.

  • Manage and develop departmental reporting for the licensee program which will be distributed internally.

  • Track and resolve issues dealing with payment, incentives, repurchase proceeds, etc.

  • Understand macro market conditions, automotive industry climate, and residual values.

  • Prepare presentations for management’s review to update SMT on the program.

  • Work closely with fleet accounting and fleet ordering to ensure orders are placed and funded appropriately.

  • Manage ETA status update reporting for the vehicles ordered within this program.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Minimum 4-year college degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration with applicable work experience.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years management experience

  • Minimum 2+ years in a Sales/Business Development role

  • Experience in the auto industry, rental car industry or fleet management is a plus.

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Business Development and Project Management skills

  • Automotive Industry preferred

Skills:

  • Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizationaland negotiating skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business, technical teams and external vendors.
