The Hertz Corporation Mulesoft Technical Business Analyst in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

The ESB Mulesoft Technical Business Analyst is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who provides business support for the Integration Factory. The Technical Business Analyst will be required to have substantial knowledge of Mulesoft.

Key Result Areas

  1. Gather requirements from stakeholders including Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Architects and IT teams.

  2. Maintain clear and detailed integration requirement specifications, ensuring the design is of the most efficient streamlined flow without redundancies.

  3. Recognize common requirements and document re-usable code and procedures to improve the team’s efficiency and productivity.

  4. Work with the development team to handover the detailed data layer mapping for coding

  5. Assist in creation of Test cases with QA testing team and business

  6. Partner with Project Managers, Business Leaders and Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for contributing towards your integrations

  7. Provide hands-on expert consultation to your team members, including developers and support staff on technical issues

  8. Serve as a subject matter expert in the business problems you solve

  9. Ability to support multiple projects with dependencies, simultaneously

  10. Demonstrate ability to articulate complex technical matters in easy to understand, business facing terms

  11. Strong communication and presentation skills

  12. Contribute insights based on data from your deployments to further optimize our business processes

  13. Demonstrate leadership and business acumen by anticipating business needs and ability to respond with alternative solutions when business priorities change


Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems

Professional Experience:

  • 3-5 years of technology consulting or similar relevant industry experience

  • 2+ years in a technical or functional project lead role

  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Experience presenting to senior-level leadership or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

Knowledge / Skills:

  • Deep understanding of data migration and systems integration best practices.

  • Integration Modeling: Knowledge of integration modeling patterns and the ability to decompose integration scenarios into data flow diagrams and functional / technical specifications, taking into account software and system capabilities while promoting reuse, services based integrations, maintainability and efficiency.

  • Experience with one or more Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) or SaaS cloud-based data integration tools (Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, Tibco, Informatica, Data Factory).

  • Experience sourcing data from ERP, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc. and from flat files (JSON, CSV, etc.).

  • Experience with enterprise applications (eg, CRM), application development platforms, software development, and SQL query experience is desirable
