General Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the efforts to partner with operations, IT and functions on all transformation projects across the company globally. The role will be responsible for the coordination and creation of monthly estimates, forecasts and actuals reporting. The business is currently undergoing a transformation of all of its systems and processes. These projects are key to the long term success of the company and have visibility to top company leadership and board of directors. This role will need to work will all project managers and business owners to ensure the scope of the projects are accurately forecast for, that actuals are reported to the proper projects and that actuals and forecast are understood by the project managers and business sponsors to ensure that we have the right forecast and variance explanations. In Addition, the benefits these projects will deliver need to be accurately sized and documented and ensure we have the ability to track the success of the project after go live.

Mandatory Requirements

Key Results Areas

  • Coordination and development of forecasts and reporting with finance business partners, operational owners and project managers

  • Monthly actuals reporting of all transformation projects

  • Monthly and quarterly review sessions with key project team members to ensure forecasts and actuals are understood and accurate

  • Coordination of Board of Director report outs on financial updates of transformation programs

  • Project support for ad-hoc analysis from senior management

  • Involvement in preparation of annual business plans, capital plans and strategic plans

  • Variance analysis of operating results vs forecast

  • Business Partner on IT sponsored projects for development of business cases, NPV’s and support

Educational Background:

Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting and/or economics

MBA preferred

Professional Experience:

  • 2 or more years experience in financial planning and analysis, public accounting environment or other senior financial role

Knowledge:

  • Financial and business acumen

Skills:

  • Ability to act as change agent to drive process improvement throughout all levels of the organization

  • Operates effectively within a complex and dynamic organization

  • Ability to create synergies between operating Divisions

  • Strong communication and organization work experience

  • Excellent PC skills, including proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access
