The Hertz Corporation Support Services Specialist in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Support Services Specialist is responsible for implementing a wide variety of Hertz/Dollar/Thrifty/Firefly products and services. This position has a primary focus of implementing programs and rates for any product that is CDP, IT, or PC driven. The MultiSkilled Specialist will support Sales and Marketing with the implementation of contractual and marketing programs within predetermined time frames.

Key Result Areas:

  • Accurate analysis and product implementation drives revenue and customer satisfaction.

  • Meet or exceed Service Level Agreement requirements.

  • Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with contacts.

  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activity

  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours to maintain customer service

  • Assists in developing global best practices.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager

Mandatory Requirements


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required .

  • 2+ years office administrative & customer service experience required .

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong decision making, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Must be extremely detail oriented.

  • Knowledge of Sales Systems, RAM, PC Excalibur, and Lotus Notes strongly preferred .

  • Knowledge of CDPID's, Tours, PC's, and Rates strongly preferred .

Technical Skills :

  • Able to type minimum 25 wpm.

  • Minimum 10 Key by touch 7,000 ksph.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, namely Excel (intermediate proficiency required).

  • Must be able to work independently as well as on a team.
