As a Franchise Analyst you will...

  • Conduct telephone solicitations and sales calls and correspond with prospective franchise buyers, make sales presentations describing the company’s franchise program.

  • Responsible for corresponding with and advising prospective Hertz Dollar Thrifty franchise buyers. Act as contact for franchise development inquiries. Research and prepare documentation for franchisee candidates and prepare franchise proposal information. Outline with prospective franchise buyers the services that Hertz Dollar Thrifty provides and other pertinent information. Prepare documentation needed from candidates and advise prospective franchise buyers during the pre-qualification process. Maintain prospect & licensee information in Salesforce and maintain the legal database in the Franchise Drive.

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Franchise management including managing all PowerPoint presentations for regional meetings and new licensee orientations, produce orientation binders, image manuals and process all electronic correspondence to franchisees including policy and procedure bulletins.

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Franchise Operations and management group, including travel arrangements and schedules, compiling expense reports, organizing meetings, WebEx conference call and all other related duties.

  • Work with in-house and outside legal counsel to prepare legal documents including disclosure document, licensee and fleet lease agreements for new franchisees, renewal documents for existing Licensees, notice of default, termination and power of attorney as required. Receive process and draw on and follow-up on letters of credit. Ensure license and fleet security agreements are PPSA registered.

  • Prepare and distribute reports such as; LSC forms, open/closed location status sheets, spreadsheets for Hertz 10K, CFFS, and same store revenue/fee analysis.

  • Review, adjust and process monthly departmental budgets and legal invoices.

  • Prepare monthly Franchise Fee forecast/analysis spreadsheet as used by Director of Franchise Operations.

  • Update and monitor the Canadian legal score card, insurance certificates, licensee notifications for insurance certificates and licenses agreement renewals

  • Work with ad agencies/franchise associations to develop franchise sales ads; work with Marketing in the development of franchise sales web-site advertising.

  • Conduct training for licensees on Hertz Partners, Fee Reports, Learning Connection, Payment Remittance, Pulling Aging Reports, Reconciliations and all other related licensee accounting functions. Assist with the preparation and filing rates plans and other related licensee training.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year post secondary education completed

  • Must be fluently bilingual in written/spoken French/English

  • Advanced Excel, Word and Powerpoint knowledge

  • Must have a valid G driver's license and in good standing

  • Some travel will be required to licensee & departmental meetings in Canada and US.
