The Hertz Corporation Regional Director Client Services in Mississauga, Ontario

General Responsibilities

The Regional Director, Client Services is responsible for both proactively managing, strengthening, and further developing Donlen’ s relationships with clients within an assigned portfolio as well as prospecting and growing the Canadian client portfolio.

Understanding our products and services is a must in this role as it will be your role to continually sell the value of Donlen to the clients, recommending additional products and services as appropriate. This position’s role is both a relationship manager and a salesperson to our clients. Additionally responsibilities include the development of new business relationships that come to Donlen through new and as well as referral channels in addition to manage any new and existing clients.

This position will entail some travel (30-40%) to meet with clients. Position will be based in the Canadian office which is based in Mississauga Ontario.

  • Meet goals established by management for outbound phone call activity

  • Update and maintain accurate information about the fleet and fleet

ordering decision makers in

  • Successfully obtain vehicle orders from existing portfolio while

maintaining business acceptable profitability, and service levels

  • Maximize the penetration of assigned customer in program participation.

  • Create and make presentations to customers and prospects.

  • Establish new accounts through referral channels & relational management,

  • Build enhanced synergies and communication between AE’s & AM’s through the Know Thy Customer model.

  • Analyze data and provide overall review of Donlen programs and value propositions.

  • Become expert on all Donlen’ s “Best in Class” technology offerings

  • Monitor and recommend appropriate vehicle cycling parameters

  • Handle incoming and outgoing communication with accounts relative to relationship building and problem resolution.

  • Develop strategic account management plans and target opportunities

  • Work with all departments to ensure quality service offering to all clientele

  • Coordinate the administrative support of Customers with Account Management team

  • Provide quarterly forecasting to management for order volume and services penetration

  • Providing consultative advice to customers and prospects (i.e. Annual and/or Quarterly Performance Reviews, Replacement Analysis, Best Value Analysis; Scorecards) working collaboratively with Strategic Consulting Group.

  • Creating a positive image of Donlen Corporation at local business functions

  • Coordinating and collaborating with marketing staff to optimize lead generation and sales support functions

  • Managing sales activity and client growth opportunities, reporting monthly

  • Managing expenses on a monthly basis

  • Developing Donlen value proposition with the goal of signing new business from prospects and penetrating existing customer portfolios

  • Selling all Donlen approved financial and service programs

  • Meeting and or exceeding annual growth targets

  • Work collaboratively with other Canadian sales team members, weekly update calls on activity and opportunities in the Canadian landscape

  • Achieving targeted financial goals as established by Donlen Management Team

  • Aid and assist in product evolution

  • Provide additional French speaking AM Support when required.

  • Aid and assist with growth and development in overall Canadian space.

Mandatory Requirements

Professional Experience:

Excellent ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.

Must be fully fluent in both French and English

  • 5+ years financial sales experience and vehicle leasing experience preferred

  • Complex relational selling is required

  • High degree of business acumen

  • Strong ability to analyze complex data and make proactive recommendations

  • Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal and written)

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Must have a demonstrated track record of being a top-achiever

  • Goal-oriented sales professional with discipline to work independently is required

  • Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and/or complaints

  • Superior written, verbal and presentation skills, and professional presence are required

  • Level I FleetWeb® certification (internal) required

  • Valid Driver’s License
