The Hertz Corporation Fleet Accounting Project Analyst in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

General Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Assist with development, testing, training, and change management as Subject Matter Expert for the VISION to Oracle project. This position requires significant analytical and data validation skills, strong interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage change. Monitor and analyze business/industry trends and best practices with execution of key organizational initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to facilitate change management and implement critical project improvement initiatives. This person will lead the culture of continuous improvement while identifying and performing critical project analytics for areas of opportunities within the fleet accounting department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth communication and buy-in between Fleet Accounting, consultants, Hertz IT and the project team.

  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the project, identify problem areas before they impact the project, and assist with corrective actions.

  • Assist fleet accounting team in testing system.

  • Implementation training and assist with change management tasks as needed.

  • Use prior knowledge and experience in accounting to identify gaps and recommend next steps.

Key Result Areas

  • Execute test scripts as assigned and raise defects as appropriate.

  • When remediation is required, work with other project resources to confirm changes in response to the fixes requested.

  • Assist and drive change management sessions.

  • Coordinate change agent program.

  • Provide input for cutover plan.

  • Provide input for training plan and participate in “Train the Trainer” sessions

  • If required, deliver training to appraisers.

  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration with Accounting.

Professional Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in accounting role and/or project management

Knowledge:

  • Required knowledge of MS Office products, Access, Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions and take action.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and tasks in a demanding environment.

Skills:

  • Ability to influence others without formal authority

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
