General Responsibilities

The Procurement Systems Project Manager will lead a cross functional team responsible for the implementation and operation of a P2P solution for large and mid-sized volume vendors. This position will lead and project manage all aspects of the implementation including but not limited to: solutions design, business rule development, user/role interface configuration, system integration, supplier configuration, data gathering, catalog management, training and communication planning. This position will assist the process owners with data extraction from the existing systems, ensuring adherence to data specifications, process standardization, process improvement and successful integration with Oracle R12. The Procurement Manager will act as a liaison between the implementation partner, user groups, process owners, suppliers and IT. This individual will assist in setting the strategic direction for the P2P process and assess the impact of potential changes to our supplier base as well as our user community. The position will be responsible for understanding current state processes of existing Purchase Order systems, Contract systems, RFX processes and defining future state processes for implementation into the new P2P process. This position will also be responsible for policy and procedures updates to the PTP policies affected by any changes resulting from the implementation.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • BS and MS in Business, Finance or Accounting

  • PMP certification or 5+ year experience in Project and Program Management

  • Lean Six Sigma or Process Improvement Methodology

Professional Experience:

  • Project/Program Management experience 5+ years

  • Large Scale Project Process implementation and standardization

  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle R12 iProcurement and Payable Modules

  • Procure to Pay process cycle experience 3+ years

  • Accounting/Finance experience 5+ years

Knowledge:

  • Procurement application automation

  • Business Rules
