The Hertz Corporation Marketing Communication Manager in Uxbridge, United Kingdom
The Marketing Communications Manager is part of the Hertz International Brand Team and reports into the Brand Director.
The Marketing Communications Manager is central to delivering maximum impact from the execution and implementation of the brand strategy across all touchpoints for Hertz International.
They are responsible for the ongoing support of the websites, development and ownership of the promotional calendar and supporting the Brand Director on cross-brand activity.
The Marketing Communications Manager has particular responsibility for the Thrifty and Dollar brands and ownership of the Thrifty and Dollar websites.
Manage and provide support for the development and implementation of cross market 360 campaigns across direct channels and deliver within the timelines set, as well as support and implement promotions across selected partner channels. This includes:
Evaluating segmentation reports as well as building relationships with key stakeholder/s (by brand) to ensure activity and campaigns are supporting the business need/s
Develop agreed offer with pricing and other key stakeholders (per brand), including the orchestration of corporate and franchise countries participating in Global or pan European offers
Complete appropriate documentation associated with offer set up and conduct testing as required
Coordinate creative, translation, transcreation and copy requirements for all activity with appropriate COE teams
Manage the delivery of assets to third party partners
Own and facilitate campaign briefs and coordinate/allocate to the key stakeholders per brief e.g. landing page creation to the web content manager, design request to the Creative Manager. Ensure effective time management and communication to ensure all aspects of the brief are met and delivered on time.
Assist with the development and implementation of initiatives that improve, enhance and differentiate the customer experience at all stages of the customer journey – from reservation through to post-rental activity, and everything in between – across all brands.
Drive a high quality customer-centric approach across touchpoints. Work with the wider marketing team to execute on customer experience and product development.
Provide ad hoc marketing support for in-country marketing teams and GSAs, including the development and production of marketing materials/ POS.
Work with the Brand Director and cross functional stakeholders to execute and implement facilities look and feel, assisting in-market teams by ensuring design and identity standards are met across all Hertz brands.
Manage our day-to-day relationship with content and brand agencies, plus other related third party suppliers. Ensure agency KPIs are met
Preferably a degree in marketing or similar business qualification
High attention to detail and process driven
Proven track record in similar brand-led marketing role, leisure, hospitality or multi-site retail will be a distinct advantage.
Working knowledge of full mix brand/tactical campaign planning and delivery
Stakeholder management experience in a complex environment
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Fluent written English language skills
Exceptional communication and organisational skills
Ability to think and plan combined with good day-to-day management
Adaptable whilst working in a multi-cultural environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met
