We have an exciting opportunity that may be of interest, As the Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty, Sales Manager - Leisure & Tourism you will be responsible for a large percentage of the Divisions overall Revenue, the Sales Manager will establish a positive working relationship with key buyers in various distribution channels.
Working closely with Brokers, on-Line Travel Agents, Tour Operators and other travel related companies. Performance driven with a strong understanding of all Commercial aspects of the Companies contracts the Sales Manager will constantly increase the Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty business. Understanding and communicating business performance via the Companies various reports is essential to ensure all Partners are building towards agreed forecast numbers A strong relationship/people person, who is comfortable attending domestic and overseas functions and travelling approximately 5 to 7 days a month.
Our European Head Quarters based in Uxbridge employs approximately 350 people and we’re currently looking to recruit a new Leisure & Tourism Sales Manager who will be working on The Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty Brands to destinations worldwide.
What you'll do
Manage, maintain and expand relations with existing portfolio of accounts, including Brokers, On-Line Travel Agents and Tour Operators.
Achieve quarterly and annual Revenue Sales targets
Responsible for negotiation of contractual terms.
Deliver sales presentations to key accounts
Organise and action key accounts product training
Plan and Action client Meetings/Reviews
Work with the Companies IT departments to maximize the integration of XML systems (XML)
Assemble and collate market intelligence including travel trends, pricing, travel industry news etc
Involvement in ad-hoc company or department projects
Maintain and use existing network of industry contacts to generate new business
Identify, follow- up and arrange meetings for new business opportunities
Communicate new product developments to prospective and existing accounts

What you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Travel and Tourism related field. (Required but not essential)
At least five years related experience in the travel industry.
Experience in Relationship Management
Numerically astute/numbers driven
A strong and enthusiastic personality with a history of success
Positive and persuasive
